BuzzLine Contest: Cell Service in the Skies?

Cell phone addicts, you are clear for takeoff. Maybe.

The Federal Communications Commission is reconsidering its ban on calling your mom, texting your friends or playing Words with Friends from 30,000 feet.

Airlines would have to install special antennae before passengers can start talking, and at least one flight attendant group is against the measure.

I know I am. But what about you?

In six words, what’s your argument for or against lifting the in-flight cell phone ban? Maybe:

  • No, please. Peanuts best in silence.
  • Yes! Rebook missed connection in flight!
  • Hearing seatmate’s domestic disputes? Good times.

Put your six words in the comments below and you could win an SBUX gift certificate.

Share the BuzzLine on Twitter, #FCC, and who knows? Maybe your six words will influence national policy.

We’ll announce the winner next week.
